I began collecting polish during the summer of 2012. It began innocently enough and it quickly blossomed into a full blown addiction 🙂 As of summer 2013 I have over 250 bottles. I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve spent over the past year but it has been worth every penny! Feel free to share your collections anywhere on my page. One of my favorite brands is Revlon. It’s cheap, available pretty much anywhere, and it’s good quality stuff. Aside from Revlon I’m a huge fan of butter by London, indies, and essie.

My stash over a year ago when we lived in Virginia.
I thought I had too many then… Ha! You can never have too many. Back then we had a four bedroom home so I had more than enough space to spread out all of my polish. Now we have a three bedroom home and since we need one for our son and a guest room that leaves me with our own room when it comes to my stash. Fortunately I’ve worked it out (as you can see at the very top) and hope it stays that way!
Yep, my collection is growing exponentially over time. I am SO thankful I have a husband who supports my hobby… Sometimes I think he finds it silly but it even when I say, “I know, I’m out of control,” he will actually disagree with me and just say, “Nah, it’s just something you enjoy.”
And he’s right… I hope! Sometimes I can’t tell if this is an obsession or simply a fun way to pass time. Wherever that line is, I’m not sure if I’ve crossed it yet or not. Quite frankly, however, I don’t really care 🙂 I do go weeks without doing my nails or buying polish but that’s only when I’m away from home visiting family or on vacation. Otherwise I’m always getting into it. I don’t think more than a few days pass where I don’t update my manicures and that takes a lot of polish and maintenance. It’s okay though because I love it and I’ll be doing this as long as I have the time and space!
